After the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the two shoulders of King Charles and Queen Camilla have taken over the British Commonwealth countries, a heavy responsibility that is attracting the world’s attention and expectation.
I was impressed, however, by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s keen foresight in informing King Charles on the 75th anniversary of her succession to the throne that she would make Lady Camilla queen when he became king after her death.
This is Queen Elizabeth’s way of settling the troubles that supporters of the late Princess Diana had with those who opposed Lady Camilla after her death with a statement before her death. Some admirers of the late Princess Diana have even maligned Lady Camilla (from mistress to queen!). Some even malign her (from mistress to queen!).
